Cosmetic Medical Clinic has been providing cosmetic skin and vein treatments since 1999 in beautiful St. Albert, Alberta.
Led by Dr. Nicholas Morison, CMC+ is a respected leader in the Medical Spa industry. We strive not only to provide the most effective treatments and procedures, but also to do so in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Our focus is on skin health and working together on a journey to meet your goals.
our history
The Cosmetic Medical Clinic was born from Dr. Morison’s keen interest in skin conditions. After establishing his family practice in 1976, he began extensive training in phlebology, first with Dr. Louis Grondin from Calgary. He later became a fellow of the Canadian Society of Phlebology.
Dr. Morison continued to pursue his interests through many additional trainings, always striving to learn the latest and most effective techniques. He opened the Cosmetic Medical Clinic and Vein Clinic in 1999, one of the first in the Edmonton area, and has since become a leader in cosmetic procedures.
Our philosophy at the Cosmetic Medical Clinic has always been to provide exceptional results in a comfortable and caring environment through a medical first approach. This means that you can rest assured that all doctors, nurses and staff members are highly qualified and trained in the newest and best technology available. A doctor is on call at all times during office hours, allowing us to provide an additional layer of patient care.

Dr. Nicholas J. Morison

Dr. Morison qualified in medicine in London, UK in 1976 and proceeded to do his residency which included 2 years in family practice and another 2 years of internal medicine at the U of A hospital in Edmonton, AB. He completed 6 months of specialized training in dermatology and plastic surgery. Ever since, he has been performing in office surgical procedures since 1977; over the years he worked in the emergency department at the U of A and alongside having his family practice clinic. He proceeded to obtain training in cosmetic injections & laser therapy which led him to open his own cosmetic practice back in the early 2000's.
But wait! He didn't stop there he joined the phlebology association of Canada and started treating varicose veins and expanded his practice to include this offering. Dr. Morison has 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren, his passions outside of work include sailing, cycling, exercising and relaxing at his destination cottage in Sundre, Alberta.
Dr. Rossouw

Dr. Rossouw obtained a medical degree from the University of Pretoria in 2007, following the completion of a Master of Science degree. After graduating, Dr. Rossouw spent seven years working in a busy surgical department, gaining extensive hands-on experience in operative and perioperative care.
In 2015, Dr. Rossouw relocated to Canada and has since dedicated over a decade to emergency medicine and family healthcare. Throughout this time, he has developed a strong interest and expertise in minor surgical procedures, as well as acute and trauma care. His broad clinical background allows him to approach patient care with precision, confidence, and compassion.
Having settled in St. Albert in recent years, he is proud to now call the community home. Joining the St. Albert Cosmetic and Vein Clinic marks an exciting new chapter. Dr.Rossouw looks forward to bringing his extensive surgical experience and hands-on expertise to serve and support the community with the highest standard of care.
Charnelle

With 16 years of experience, Charnelle has adored this industry since she was a little girl. In 2009, she graduated from EIE Medispa & Laser Training Centre with an honors diploma. She joined the CMC team in 2010.
When not at the clinic, she pursued her passion for education as an esthetics instructor at the same school she graduated from. Her passion for education also led her to complete a Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training in 2016. In 2020, she became a Reiki Practitioner and this opened the door to becoming a certified Natural Wellness Specialist (Aromatherapy, Crystal and Chakra wellness). She’s always looking to gain more certifications, in 2023 she became certified in the Ju-ene Facial Massage technique known as the Natural Face Lift. In 2025 she was trained by Second Chance Facial Rejuvenation in the Micro-current technique which is a holistic modality used to reeducate facial muscles and improve skin health. Her favourite service to perform is ANY type of facial as she is often referred to as “The Facial Queen”. Her favourite treatment to receive is the Oxygeneo treatment.
When she isn't busy pampering you in the treatment room you can find her on outdoor family adventures with her husband and two children, at the pilates studio or hosting sound baths submerging herself into the wellness community.
Renee

Renee brings a diverse background in both the beauty and medical fields. She began her career in her early 20s as a hairstylist and makeup artist before transitioning into her dream role as an X-ray Technician. After stepping away from her career to raise her three beautiful children — her most rewarding role yet — she found her way back to the industry she loves.
Passionate about all things beauty, Renee enjoys staying on top of the latest skincare and makeup trends. Her favourite treatments are SkinPen Microneedling and HydraFacials.
Renee has truly fallen in love with the patients and clients she cares for, and she feels grateful to build genuine connections while helping others look and feel their best.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her on the golf course or pickleball court with her husband, or spending quality time with her amazing kids.
Angela

Angela has been with our clinic since 2007 - WOW! She specializes in the sclerotherapy treatments for spider and varicose veins, working alongside with Dr. Morison.
Her passion is patient care and that passion translates into working in assisted living facilities and homecare; she’s a busy Nurse! She has big, wonderful family that she spends every free minute with outside of her career.
Her favourite treatments to receive are Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels to get her glow on. Her favorite treatment to provide is Cosmetic Botox and partnering with clients to meet their goals.

Ashley is a Clinical Esthetician and Laser Technician who graduated with honors from EIE Medispa & Laser Training Centre, completing the Clinical Esthetics and Laser Technician program. She further advanced her training at the Aesthetic Laser Training Academy through Rao Dermatology. Ashley is committed to ongoing education and regularly participates in clinical webinars and hands-on workshops to stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Her favorite laser platform to work with is the Excel V+, which she loves for its versatility and effectiveness in treating a wide range of vascular and pigmented concerns.
Outside of the clinic, Ashley enjoys giving back to the community and actively volunteers with local charitable organizations.

Linda

Linda's career as an aesthetic nurse injector began in 2014 in Vancouver, BC, and has continued in Edmonton. She is continuously learning new approaches to injecting using the latest, advanced products while focusing on evidence-based practices. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Nurses and the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. In addition to medical aesthetics, she also works in acute mental health.
Linda enjoys working collaboratively with her patients to help them achieve their aesthetic goals. She understands that everyone has their own personal journey and aims to be a part of it by creating a positive experience that includes education, developing a personalized treatment plan together, and providing ongoing support. Linda believes in helping people look and feel their best.

Aryana is currently on maternity leave
Aryana is the newest member to our team, she is a skincare and makeup enthusiast. After spending the past 10 years in Toronto as an Artist she decided to move to St Albert to be closer to family. Her first stop whenever she comes to visit has always been to the Cosmetic Medical Clinic to receive her favourite facial, the HydraFacial!
Aryana wants to help people feel and look their best to let their confidence shine. She is currently trained in Microcurrent Facials, a holistic approach to rejuvenating the skin (a new treatment that the clinic will start offering soon!) and begins her facial technician program in early Febuary to be completed by March. She looks forward to meeting our clients (and their faces) very soon!
