Cosmetic Medical Clinic and Vein Clinic uses VenaSeal™’s sapheon closure system, which is a safe medical embolic adhesive to simply and effectively close large varicose veins. Some varicose vein treatments come with a risk of nerve injury, but VenaSeal™ is applied intravenously, which eliminates that risk entirely.
Before we can apply VenaSeal™ to your leg’s varicose vein, we will assess your leg with an ultrasound imaging exam. This exam will tell us what we need to know about your varicose veins and how we should proceed.
During our procedure, we will numb the sensations in your leg. After we are certain it is numb enough, we will place a catheter into your varicose vein that will insert adhesive directly into the vein. We use an ultrasound to make sure that we guide and position the catheter properly.
